Having commenced our cut flower business in 2006 with a selection of trial crops, 2007 heralded the birth of “Willie’s Lillies”. Selected primarily because of their universal appeal, we have chosen oriental lilies simply because they are our personal favourite.

Our lily bulbs are of the highest quality and specially selected to ensure maximum strength, stem length (between 80cms and 110cms), vase life and superior flower heads. We are growing more varieties this year, including several whites, pinks and reds.

Wester Balbeggie Farm

Wester Balbeggie Farm is a dairy and arable farm located on the east coast of Scotland approximately 1 mile north of Kirkcaldy and some 10 miles north of Edinburgh (as the crow flies).

Wester Balbeggie has a mixture of good quality arable farmland which enjoys relatively sunny climatic conditions.

The farm is owned and operated by Willie Murray. Wester Balbeggie has been owned by the Murray family since Willie’s grandfather moved here from Strathaven in 1949. Farmed by his grandfather and father before him, Willie now runs the farm with the assistance of his family and farm team.
